Great Food, Great Music, Great Fun!

July 4th is around the corner.  This is the big fund-raiser that helps us help veterans.
This is the time of year when I ask and encourage you all to look in your wallets for those gift cards and “dinner-for-two” certificates that you never used.  If you’d like to donate those items to the Post, by dropping them off at the office (Mon-Fri 9-6pm), we’ll add them to the raffle prizes that we buy new, so there are usually 30 to 40 total raffle prizes of varying value.
As we’ve done for many years, the grand prize will be a big, flat screen TV and two new beach cruisers as second placers…all brand new!

If you’d like to help with our 4th of July event, the sign-up pages are up on display in the hall. We need more than 60 volunteers to pull this off. If you can serve on the chow line, or pull a shift in the parking lot, we’d love to have the help. Many folks have helped out for years and I’d like to thank you folks again.  The confusion starts when people “just show up” and say, “But we always do this.” So please sign up in the hall on the pages and include your email, so we can communicate and send information if situations change. Thank you.
